# WHY?

In web2 games, the avenues for players to monetize their gaming skills are limited, primarily revolving around esports or content creation.

On the other hand, web3 games have introduced play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics, but they may not fully capture the vibrant culture and appeal of web2 gaming. Web3 are heavily focused on **play 2 earn** that it restricts itself to evolve as a good game.

MIST's primary goals is to ensure that gamers remain engaged and interested in the platform. While web2 esports can be rewarding, the path to becoming a professional esports athlete is often challenging and inaccessible to everyone. MIST aims to democratize this process, making it more accessible to aspiring gamers.

Our initial strategy involves hosting tournaments **where gamers contribute a modest amount to our liquidity pool.** Following the matches, we distribute the pool's rewards to the winners through **smart contracts.** This approach not only encourages competitive gaming but also provides an opportunity for players to earn rewards in a transparent and decentralized manner.

MIST envisions a future where the best aspects of web2 and web3 gaming coexist, offering players a diverse and rewarding gaming experience while empowering them with financial opportunities.
